Welcome to the Henry County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office website.
My name is Katherine Minter Salgado, and it is truly an honor to serve as Clerk of the Circuit Court for Henry County. I was born and raised in Henry County and have proudly served the citizens of our community since 2016, first as a Deputy Clerk and now as Clerk. My commitment is to ensure our records are carefully maintained, court operations run smoothly, and every person who interacts with my office is treated with respect, fairness, and kindness.
The Code of Virginia mandates more than 800 duties for the Clerk of the Circuit Court which means my office offers a wide variety of services to the citizens of Henry County. Some of those services include the issuance of marriage licenses, recording of deeds and land documents, coordinating juror services, probate of wills and estates, assisting Judges with courtroom proceedings, creating and managing all court files and legal documents, issuing summons and court processes, preserving historic court papers and many other services.

Henry County's Historic Records
In Henry County, records are not only kept by the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office – they are preserved and proudly shared. Our office houses the history of Henry County through legal documents dating back to the 1700s. Marriage licenses, court proceedings, wills, land transactions, and more recorded by the county can be viewed in our office during regular business hours.
